Abstract

Human behavior is a complex phenomenon influenced by both cognitive processes and social dynamics. Cognitive sciences and social sciences, though distinct in their focus and methodologies, offer complementary insights into understanding human behavior. The integration of these disciplines can provide a more holistic view, enabling the exploration of the ways in which individual cognitive mechanisms interact with broader social forces. This article explores the pluridisciplinary approach to studying human behavior, examining how cognitive psychology, social psychology, and sociology converge to inform our understanding of behavior in various social contexts. It highlights the contributions of both fields and discusses the potential for integrated methodologies that bridge cognitive and social perspectives. Through case studies and the presentation of relevant theoretical frameworks, the article offers a deeper understanding of the interaction between individual cognition and social environments.
