Abstract

Sustainable livestock production is increasingly recognized as a critical component of global food systems due to its role in addressing climate change, environmental degradation, and food security. This paper examines recent trends and emerging practices aimed at reducing the environmental impact of livestock production while ensuring economic viability and social equity. Key strategies such as regenerative agriculture, rotational grazing, feed optimization, and genetic improvement are evaluated. Moreover, policy frameworks and technological innovations that support sustainable livestock management are discussed.
