Abstract

Agronomy plays a critical role in advancing sustainable food production through the integration of scientific knowledge, innovative farming practices, and environmental stewardship. As global populations continue to rise, there is an increasing demand for food systems that not only enhance productivity but also preserve ecosystems. This paper examines the principles of agronomy in promoting soil health, optimizing crop yields, and reducing the environmental impact of agriculture. It highlights the importance of sustainable agronomic practices such as crop rotation, organic farming, and precision agriculture in meeting global food security goals while addressing climate change challenges.
